1. Admissionsto master’s degree program.
1.1. Competitive admission for the Program is carried out based on the results of consideration of the submitted documents by applicants within the framework of the portfolio competition.
1.2. To pass the competitive admission, an applicant presents two packages of documents: the first package forms the applicant’s personal file and contains documents sent (submitted) for the formation of an application for admission to training in Master’s programs, the second package is directly a portfolio and contains the following documents that are uploaded to the applicant’s personal area on the site of the Admissions Committee of the USPTU in the form of electronic files containing scanned originals of documents or their copies (after preliminary submission of an application for admission to USPTU):
1.2.1. Higher Education Diploma;
1.2.2. certificates, qualifications and diplomas, including in electronic form, confirming the level of knowledge of the English language (if available);
1.2.3. motivation letter justifying the applicant’s interest in studying on the Program, and indicating that he has the knowledge, professional skills to successfully master the corresponding program (addressed to the moderator, signed by the applicant, contains the name “Motivation letter”).
To determine the knowledge, skills and abilities of an applicant in a motivation letter, it is recommended to him, incl. to reveal the question of his own vision of the development of the relevant branch of the economy and (or) knowledge:
- Сivil engineering for program Energy Systems and Civil Engineering;
- Oil and gas business for programs Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering;
- Multilateral Diplomacy for program Foreign Area Studies;
- Global Governance and Leadership for program Foreign Area Studies;
- Cyber security and soft power institutions for program Foreign Area Studies;
- Political consulting and mediation in international relations for program Foreign Area Studies;
- National interests of Russia in Eurasia for program Foreign Area Studies;
- Russia in the Asia-Pacific for program Foreign Area Studies;
- Eurasian integration and cooperation of the CIS countries for program Foreign Area Studies.
- Hospitality and tourism industry for program Hospitality management.
The recommended volume of a motivation letter is no more than 5 thousand characters (2-3 sheets of A4 format, 14 font-size)
1.2.4. resume (CV) (contains the name “Resume” or “CV”, is compiled in reverse chronological order, including information about the applicant’s participation in scientific research competitions, olympiads and other intellectual events, about receiving academic scholarships from universities, funds during his studies at the university, public authorities, diplomas, certificates and other documents testifying to professional development, additional education, work experience in the direction of the relevant program (if available).
1.3 The documents included in the portfolio are submitted in English (except for educational documents obtained in the territory of the Russian Federation and/or containing information in Russian).

1. Условия приема на магистерскую программу.
1.1. Конкурсный отбор на Программу осуществляется по итогам рассмотрения представленных поступающим документов в рамках конкурса портфолио.
1.2. Для прохождения конкурсного отбора поступающий представляют два пакета документов: первый пакет формирует личное дело поступающего и содержит документы, направляемые (представляемые) для формирования заявления о приеме на обучение по программам магистратуры, второй пакет представляет собой непосредственно портфолио и содержит следующие документы, которые загружаются в Личный кабинет абитуриента на сайте Приемной комиссии ФГБОУ ВО УГНТУ в виде электронных файлов, содержащих отсканированные оригиналы документов или их копии (после предварительной подачи заявления о приеме в УГНТУ):
1.2.1. диплом о высшем образовании;
1.2.2. сертификаты, свидетельства и дипломы, в том числе в электронной форме, подтверждающие уровень знания английского языка (при наличии);
1.2.3. мотивационное письмо, обосновывающее заинтересованность поступающего в обучении на Программе, и свидетельствующее о том, что у него имеются знания, навыки и профессиональные умения для успешного освоения соответствующей программы (адресуется Председателю экзаменационной комиссии, подписывается абитуриентом, содержит наименование «Мотивационное письмо»).
Для определения знаний, навыков и умений поступающего в мотивационном письме ему рекомендуется в т.ч. раскрыть вопрос его собственного видения развития соответствующей отрасли экономики и (или) знаний:

1.2.4. резюме (CV) (содержит наименование «Резюме» или «CV», составляется в обратном хронологическом порядке, включая сведения об участии поступающего в конкурсах научных работ, олимпиадах и других интеллектуальных мероприятиях, о получении во время обучения в вузе академических именных стипендий вузов, фондов, органов государственной власти, дипломы, сертификаты и иные документы, свидетельствующие о повышении профессиональной квалификации, дополнительном образовании, стаже работы по направлению соответствующей программы (при наличии).
1.3 Документы, входящие в состав портфолио, представляются на английском языке (кроме документов об образовании, полученных на территории РФ и/или содержащих сведения на русском языке).
